To view a 12 kilowatt VSD equipped refrigeration condensing unit operating in comparison to a conventional 5 kilowatt hermetic condensing unit, watch the video below. Note the sound level difference when the conventional unit is de energised. The larger VSD equipped unit cannot be heard unit the smaller unit has been switched off. VSD driven units are not only cheaper to run, but quieter too.
