Often times we only have minutes to squeeze in a quick workout that maximizes our time in the gym...
Here is a 1 Minute Shoulder Workout you can do to effectively hit all of those deltoid muscles to add some beautiful shape and roundness.
What's great about this routine is that you don't have to go anywhere else. Find a Free Motion cable machine or similar set up and do As Many Rounds As Possible (AMRAP).
Perform each movement for 20 seconds and switch to the next movement. No need to count reps, just do everything for time. Take about 30 seconds in between rounds. You can have a killer shoulder workout in a matter of minutes!!
Here's what you do:
1-Minute Shoulder Workout using Cables
**No Rest between exercises - transition as fast as you can**
**Take 30 seconds max between rounds if you must**
1. Cable Lateral Raise - 20 sec (10s per side)
2. Cable Front Raise - 20 sec (10s per side)
3. Reverse Fly - 20 sec (10s per side)
**NOTE - In this video Vania is not using the handles and just holding the cable end for faster transitions**
Remember, this is a template. You can utilize this approach for various reasons...give this routine a try whenever you're short on time, in need of a great FINISHER for the shoulders or just feel like staying in one place and doing your entire workout on the cable machine.
Whatever the reason, be sure to do good clean reps, focus on the working muscles with every rep and keep moving. The real key to your best workout is that you're active. If you would rather do jumping jacks in between rounds instead of resting, that will help increase fat burning potential and get that Heart Rate (HR) up giving you a nice sweat!!
